David Daly
Pension Educator
David has been a nationally known speaker on pension and retirement planning issues for over 40 years. Most recently he was the Administrator of the National Pension Education Association, an organization of over 90 public pension systems throughout the country, committed to promoting quality retirement planning programs and services to help ensure public employees are rewarded with an emotionally, financially and socially satisfying retirement.
Previously, he was the manager of the Public Information Office and spokesperson for the New York State Teachers' Retirement System, one of the 10 largest pension funds in the country. During his 30-year career he was responsible for the System’s publications, web site development, and media relations. In his role as the Coordinator of Pre-retirement Planning he organized and implemented the System's retirement planning seminar program, which is a model for other systems throughout the country.
